BIKING:

Fort Stanton Trails:
Where Buffalo soldiers and Billy the Kid once rode horseback you can now ride your Fat Tire bike.

There are a number of different trails offering a challenge to every level of enthusiast. To get there just head out on Hwy 48 past Alto and take a right onto Hwy 380 (Airport Road) where in about 15 minutes you will find yourself smack in the middle of the one of the west’s most historic areas. And by the grace of mother nature you will also find yourself at the trail head of some of the best Fat Tire experiences you will ever enjoy.
